Gloves are necessary for safe and comfortable skating! I prefer black because it doesn't have any potential to stain :)

Thin socks, usually nylon are best for figure skates so they can be as molded to your feet as possible!

Skate Guards, Soakers and Towel Set
As long as your bag can fit your skates and gear appropriately, you'll be okay, but getting a dedicated skates bag can help keep them looking beautiful!
Figure Skating Bag
Flared leggings are my favorite thing to skate in! It prevents issues with the leggings bunching up in/above your skates and they're so comfortable!

I love wearing a vest on the ice because it allows my arms to be more balanced than wearing a huge jacket.
Women's Puffer Vest
If you do want to wear a jacket, I'd highly recommend something that's fairly skin tight, as it allows for cleaner/easier balance.

This is for later down the line, but skate tape helps keep your skates looking fresh as they get worn out over time!
Edges & Dreams
If you want to wear skirts/dresses, fleece-lined tights are hugely helpful for getting comfortable with the cold!

Wearing these to/from the rink gives your feet a nice cozy break and helps me relax and feel comfortable after practicing.
Fuzzy Slippers
Goes with the slippers! Making my feet feel as comfortable as possible before/after skating has been the best decision.
