Luigi Mangione allegedly murdered United Healthcare's CEO Brian Thompson on 12/4/2024 on the streets of Manhattan in the early morning, using a ghost gun.

Among comedians and social media (especially Reddit) Luigi is being treated like a modern-day vigilante opposing Wall Street and corporations in America. When you see a “Free Luigi” sign, they're referencing this.

You'll understand “why” Luigi allegedly did it, which is deeply intertwined with both his own health struggles and his viewpoint on the American healthcare system.

This documentary tells the life story of George Soros, by George Soros. A Jewish Hungarian who survived Nazi occupation, had an extremely successful career in finance, and now supports global causes with the wealth he has amassed.

By his critics, George Soros is often called a “puppet master” and the person who funds all liberals.

For context, George Soros is alive and 94 years old, living mostly out of New York. He became a naturalized American citizen in 1961. His son, Alexander (Alex), now leads most of their philanthropy initiatives.

First, I’m not going to lie - this one takes a lot of effort to get through. It is long-winded and you’re probably going to have a strong reaction to many of the people in it. In particular, there are many vulgar elements that I don’t think “add” to ...

Q is an anonymous figure who first started posting on 4chan. When you hear the term “QAnon” this is what it is referring to.

“Q” claims to be a person with access to high-level U.S. security information. This comes in the form of “Q Drops” which are cryptic messages posted on the message board 4chan. (Please don’t visit 4chan — NSFW is an understatement.)

QAnoners are people who spent time trying to decode the messages Q sent, believing that Q held sacred knowledge about how elites control world events.

QAnoners also showed up at the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, trying to claim that Donald J. Trump won the 2020 presidential election.

Many people claim that Gavin is going to run for president. While I don’t really care to speculate, he is doing us all a favor by having conversations with many of the key figures in the current administration’s sphere.

You’ll see a Democrat talking with journalists/media personalities/politicians across the political spectrum.

Key episodes for you to watch: Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk. Ideally you’re familiar with Bannon, as he held a key role in Trump’s first term. Charlie Kirk is likely to be a newer name to you, he’s a 31-year old right-wing conservative podcaster and...

Why you should watch these episodes: These long-form podcasts offer insight into the political and cultural messages many Americans are exclusively tuning in to.

After leaving The Daily Show (he’s back now), Jon Stewart filmed this series on Apple TV+.

There are only 2 episodes that I recommend:

S1E3 Working-Class Economy. Here Jon breaks down the issues facing the working class in America.

S1E5 Stock Market. Watch and learn how the majority of the stock market and America’s assets are owned by a precious few.

What Jon does well is bring comedy to the situation. Which honestly, is what we all need a healthy dose of right now.

If you want to know about what’s going on with technology, this is worth watching a few cherry-picked episodes.

Hannah Fry is a British mathematician, author, and presenter. She’s great at breaking down complex science/math/technology concepts and presenting them to the masses. I’ve seen her speak at a conference before.

Watch in this order: S2E3 Quantum Computing, S2E1 Super Intelligence, S2E5 Water.

If you want to see interviews with billionaires featured at the March 4th “Address Before a Joint Session of Congress” (often also called a State of the Union address), this source is for you.

You’ll see how many technology leaders are positioning themselves and their companies around AI.

There’s also a fantastic episode with the former founders of Twitter, helpful if you want to see their perspective on Elon Musk. Don't miss the episode with Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase.

This documentary demystifies what Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are, traces the origins of Bitcoin, and aims at unmasking Satoshi Nakamoto, the unknown creator.

You’ll see how the concepts of cryptocurrencies began and the minds behind the concept.

You can finally stop beating yourself up about not being “smart” or “techie” enough to understand crypto. Ideally you’ll be able to form your own thoughts on if crypto is something you want to invest in.
