Every influencer is trying to sell baby registry essentials and every baby store wants you to buy the most expensive stuff. Now that I’m almost 9 months postpartum here’s a list of the stuff I’d actually get knowing what I know now.
*Obviously every baby and family is different, and different lifestyle factors apply.
I started off combo feeding breastmilk and formula and needed to pump at first to get my supply going. I ended up exclusively breastfeeding later because it’s way less dishes and prep, my supply was good and I was noticing positive effects on my mental health. Not everyone does this, so I made sections for breast and bottle feeding BUT if you’re combo you can pick what applies to you.
It’s hard to predict in advance what will happen feeding wise so honestly it’s better to wait for the most expensive things until you know for sure. Amazon often ships same or next day, nothing is really so urgent that you can’t wait until baby arrives except diapers and a few other basics
