My boyfriend and I visited D.C. in January and these were our favorite eats and drinks!
Map
We stopped in here for a post-dinner drink and loved the atmosphere! Our bartender was so nice and made the best dirty martinis! He also treated us to complimentary oysters and caviar. We will definitely eat here next time we are in town!
The Occidental
This was such a gem! It's Michelin-rated and certainly worth it! It was a great date night spot for us to celebrate our anniversary!
L'Ardente
We loved this spot for lunch when we were in Capitol Hill! They had a huge menu and lots of beer selections. It would make a great spot to watch a game!
Bullfeathers On The Hill
We went here every night of our trip! We are from a small town and this spot was the only place we had a small town, dive bar feel. We loved the bartenders and the environment.
The Bottom Line
This restaurant was 10/10!!! The architecture, the menu, the service, everything! This was our "fancy" dining spot and we enjoyed everything about it.
La Grande Boucherie DC
We stopped here twice! Such good coffee and breakfast!
Dolphin Cafe
We loved Founding Farmers! Their menu has so many options and everything we ordered was so good! We met some PA family here and everyone loved their food picks. Everything was so fresh and delicious!!!
Founding Farmers DC
We stopped here for lunch and ending up ordering sushi which was the best decision! It was so good and fresh. They use real crab meat as opposed to imitation crab. We loved the atmosphere and vibe! They have live music on weekend nights too!
The Hamilton
This was the cutest place! It had several vendors inside with fresh meat, produce, and oriental foods. There's also crafts and goods that are handmade. We left with 2 paintings to memorialize our trip but I wanted to many other things! Such a fun way...
Eastern Market DC
We loved this spot as a causal lunch spot. The oysters were amazing!
Not a restaurant or bar but we stayed here and it was the best location! We were within talking distance of the White House and so many other things. A metro station is just across the street. The hotel bar was welcoming and cozy with a fireplace and...
