Skincare for Rosacea
I’ve always been prone to flushing & redness, but I had great skin as a teen/20-something & have become a bit of a product junkie in my 30’s, so I use a lot of actives that can irritate sensitive skin, but I’ve never had any bad reactions. This past year, my skin dramatically changed - what started as a stye turned into blepharitis, & I developed red bumps all over my cheek, & I was DXed w/Rosacea & Rxed Metrogel. The silver lining in my diagnoses is I had a legit excuse to go shopping for new skincare products, with a focus on healing inflammation, fortifying my skin’s natural barrier, reducing redness & finding fast-acting products when I have a breakout after a night or two of getting lazy & going to bed without washing my face. Here are the staples in my skincare routine, and some hero products for major flare ups.
