I tried four different sponges before I found ones that pull crayon off without leaving ghost marks or stripping the finish. These saved my dining room wall from a full repaint.

Sponges alone didn't cut it on older, dried-on crayon. These sprays loosened everything so I could wipe instead of scrub, which matters when you're trying not to wreck a matte finish.

Sometimes the crayon comes off but leaves a faint stain or you scrub a tiny bit too hard. These let you fix small spots without repainting an entire wall.

After the third incident, I stopped hoping my kids would quit and started protecting the walls instead. These go up fast and save you from another cleaning session.

Once I started cleaning one wall, I noticed handprints, scuff marks, and mystery smudges everywhere. Went on a full cleaning spree and these handled all of it.

Crayons never stay on the wall. I found marks on the couch, the carpet, and somehow a pillowcase. These pulled crayon out of fabric and upholstery without ruining anything.
