My hotel checkout was at 6am and I was starving. Turns out that's the perfect time to eat in Taiwan because the breakfast street vendors are already going full speed.

Between 9 and 11am the traditional markets hit their stride. I made the mistake of filling up at breakfast my first attempt, so pace yourself. These bites are worth the restraint.

By noon I needed to actually sit in a chair. These spots are where I parked myself, caught my breath, and ate something that required a table and zero shame about ordering too much.

That 2pm to 5pm window is snack territory. I was full but somehow kept eating. Taiwan does this to you. These are the things I grabbed while wandering and pretending I was done eating.

Saved the best window for last. Night markets open around 5 or 6pm and the energy is unreal. I had three hours before heading to the airport and spent every minute eating.
