Ashanti Striggles

From litter and food to toys, carriers, and everyday essentials, these are the products Chai has actually used and approved throughout our life together. Living with a cat has taught me that every recommendation has to survive one very opinionated reviewer—and these did.

Wash day has become one of my favorite rituals because every product here has earned its place over time. I’ve spent years refining my routine by testing shampoos, conditioners, leave-ins, stylers, and combinations to learn what my hair actually responds to instead of chasing every new launch. Whether I’m wearing a wash-and-go, braid-out, twists, or another style, these are the products I trust to help me build healthy, moisturized hair from the start. Think of this list as an invitation into a routine I’ve refined over time.

I love beauty, but I love thoughtful beauty even more. I don’t care if a product is $8 or $38—if it works, it earns a spot in my makeup bag or on my bathroom counter. This collection is filled with the makeup, skincare, and body care products I actually use, repurchase, and recommend. Whether you’re looking for sensitive skin favorites, reliable drugstore gems, or products that make getting ready feel effortless, you’ll find them here.
