Hospital Bag Must Haves
Here is everything I packed in our hospital bags. I am definitely an overpacker, so these are my recommendations for the things I actually used!
These are the cutest announcement signs! I didn't have any issues with the marker bleeding through. 5 months later, it's still on display in her nursery. Don't forget your sharpie!
Trust me, bring this. You're going to get a bunch of paperwork and this is going to help you make sure you don't lose any of it!
You are going to want to be comfortable. If you are typically warm natured, this no sleeve gown is perfect. The back is still open for the epidural, and easily opens in the front for fetal monitoring.
This is just like the Juliet gown BUT it's long sleeve. Still open in the back for the epidural and easily opened in the front for fetal monitoring. These are also pretty great for postpartum too.
You're going to need a LONG charger so it actually reaches your bed!
If you get hot, this is an easy way to cool you off. It can strap onto your bed railing. It even has a small light if you need a nightlight.
LOVE this diaper bag. There are so many pockets and compartments to keep everything organized. I packed everything for her in her diaper bag instead of a duffle bag or suitcase.
Believe it or not, you may need these! She spit up on and got things messy. You can easily throw them in this bag to keep it away from everything else.
Baby comes out with some sharp nails and you aren't going to want to clip them!
The hospital does the blanket swaddle, but these are so much easier! Bring some options to see what your baby likes. Bring more than one, they get messy lol
We brought this for baby, but I think it was more for my husband and I to drown out the hospital noise.
Just do it. There's nothing like trying to learn how to breastfeed while stacking a million pillows up and hoping baby doesn't slip through. That was so stressful! Just bring the pillow.
Trust me, bring these things. You're going to need them if you're learning to breastfeed.
Again, bring this if you're breastfeeding. I put this on after every feeding. I think it helped so I didn't bleed or crack!
Loved wearing these pajamas after delivery. They were incredibly comfortable, easy to breastfeed in, and made postpartum care and that lovely diaper more bearable.
