One of my favorite things about my home bar is my glassware collection. I am not a “get a set of 6” bar glassware person. So I set out on a mission to get cool glassware pieces. You can find some at thrift stores or estate sales, but if you are looking to get some online I have that too! I love when someone asks for a drink and I get to chose what fun and funky glass I can put it in. Match the persons personality or their vibe to a specific glass & watch their eyes light up. We all have those friends who put their heart and soul into hosting- from a simple double date to an extravagant gala. This is a list of small things you can gift to your host to make them feel seen and appreciated, and so you don’t show up empty handed! All of these recommendations come from me- the owner of the “gathering house” of my friend group. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you about our annual christmas party and my epic housewarming. Since entering my late 20’s I’ve realized how much I and all hosts & hostesses put into their parties- since then I never show up to a function empty handed. The key to this is to make sure you don’t gift something they have to serve or use that night- here is all my ideas that still qualify!
