This is a list of items that I think every new Mom should have. Some of these I had to discover on my own because no one told me how amazing they were. Now I'm telling you!
Postpartum is hard enough without having to wonder if you're clean. This product also allows you the freedom and independence to make sure you are clean and comfortable during your recovery. It really was a lifesaver for me.
Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle
If breast feeding is a challenge this is a lifesaver. It catches letdown milk while nursing on the other side, so nothing goes to waste. It's also great for pumping on the go when a power source for your electric pump might not be available.
Haakaa Manual Breast Pump
A nursing nightgown was a definite must have for me in the hospital. The gowns the hospital provides are not comfortable to easy to breastfeed in. This Nightgown was so much easier to feed and sleep in! A definite must have.
Ekouaer Nursing Nightgown
A white noise machine is great for helping babies sleep. This machine is perfect with the multiple sound options as well as the built in nightlight. The mobile app makes it easy to use and control from anywhere.
Momcozy White Noise Machine with Night Light
An extra long phone charger is a must because when you're in the hospital or at home there never seems to be an outlet close enough when you need one!
25W Type C Fast Charger 10ft for Android
An extra long phone charger is a must because when you're in the hospital or at home there never seems to be an outlet close enough when you need one!
10FT iPhone Lightning Charger
Hydration is key for any postpartum mom. Whether you're breast feeding or not Hydration is essential. I prefer Owala over stanley because the lid is more leak proof and it keeps drinks cold for over 24 hours
Owala 40oz Stainless Steel Insulated Tumbler
SNACKS!!!!! You don't always remember to eat when you're caring for a newborn. A variety snack box is perfect when you just need to grab something while pumping or snuggling during nap time!
Niro Assortment | Ultimate Snack Boxes
We all know showers are few and far between during postpartum recovery. Dry shampoo is a lifesaver before having to leave the house for groceries or doctor's appointments. I love this one because it didn't leave a stiff or sticky feeling in my hair.
amika perk up talc-free dry shampoo
This one is pretty self explanatory. No one likes cracked nipples. Breast feeding is hard enough without them. This cream is also safe to use while breastfeeding!
Earth Mama Organic Nipple Butter™ 2oz Cream
My feet were ALWAYS cold after having my daughter but I was afraid of slipping in socks while carrying her. These gripping yoga socks made it more comfortable and easier to keep my feet warm and not worry about slipping.
DIBAOLONG Women's Non Slip Pilates Socks 6-Pack
I hated regular nursing pillows because they never stayed in place and they weren't stable enough for my baby. This nursing pillow is firm yet soft, clips around your waist so it stays in place, and the cover can be removed for easy cleaning!
#1 Nursing Pillow - My Brest Friend
Now I personally never used this because it was out of my budget. I know moms who swear by this product though. They say the peace of mind when their babies slept is well worth the price, if it's within your means.
Owlet Dream Sock - Smart Baby Monitor
I received the bump box as a gift but I totally would have bought it for myself. There are several different packages to choose from and it comes with all kinds of fun goodies for both Mom and baby.
The Monthly Pregnancy Subscription Box : Bump Boxes
There is nothing wrong with taking some time for self care during postpartum recovery. Whether you get one of these boxes for yourself or another new Mom it's a sure way to help that mama feel like herself again.
