Mansel Carter Oasis Park is such a great family park! The playground is huge, there’s a fun shipwreck-themed splash pad, a fishing lake, and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Definitely one of those parks you can spend a few hours at.

Lake Havasu State Park is such a fun Arizona getaway when you want a beach day without leaving the state. The sandy shoreline, clear water, and mountain views make it perfect for swimming, relaxing, and spending the day by the lake.

One of the prettiest places in Phoenix to walk around and enjoy the desert. The cactus gardens are beautiful, especially around sunset, and there are so many great spots for pictures.

One of the coolest dog parks in the Valley! There’s tons of room for the dogs to run, separate play areas, and even a dog beach when it’s open. Definitely worth the drive.

One of the best views in the Valley without having to do a big hike! The drive up is beautiful and the view over Phoenix at sunset is absolutely worth it.
