Teething chart for infants
Taking Cara Babies: Baby and Toddler Sleep Expert on Instagram: "More questions about teething? Here are helpful recommendations straight from the ADA:⁣ ⁣ 🦷 Start brushing your little one’s teeth as soon as that first tooth erupts.⁣ 🦷 Use only a tiny amount of toothpaste (think as small as a grain of rice) until your child reaches 3.⁣ 🦷 Aim to schedule your first dentist visit within 6 months of the first tooth appearing. ⁣ 🦷 Avoid teething gels and teething tablets. They’re not recommended.⁣ ⁣ When did your little one’s first tooth appear? Did you see them come in one at a time or several all at once?⁣ Question: Anyone have a great sleeper who happily woke in the morning with a new tooth? 🦷 (Sometimes, laying a strong sleep foundation before the tooth erupts makes your nights way more manageable!) 😴 ⁣ SOURCES: https://www.mouthhealthy.org/all-topics-a-z/teething - ADA Teething⁣ https://www.mouthhealthy.org/life-stages/babies-and-kids/first-dental-visit-for-baby First Dental Visit for Baby⁣ https://www.ada.org/resources/ada-library/oral-health-topics/toothbrushes#:~:text=As%20soon%20as%20primary%20teeth,as%20the%20first%20tooth%20erupts. Ending the last nap of the day
Taking Cara Babies: Baby and Toddler Sleep Expert on Instagram: "Why does knowing when to end the last nap of the day matter? The sweet spot for bedtime for most little ones (older than 5 months) is around 7-8 pm. It’s the time when they fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. 🥱 BUT... it’s not just the time that matters. They also need enough active awake time before bed to sleep well. Ending that last nap “on time” helps prioritize the awake time your little one needs AND that 7-8pm bedtime. 💤 When does the last nap typically end in your house?
