I am very passionate about running shoes as someone who has been running for 18 years and tried quite literally every shoe on the market. These are my top recommendations at the moment.
Hands down favorite daily trainers ever. Have been running for 18 years and never found a shoe I like as much as these. Can do basically any run in them, I use for daily distance runs and long runs, but have also done occasional workout in them.

Favorite workout/speed day shoe. Use for any kind of tempo, threshold, or intervals. Can also work as a daily trainer, I used them for this before discovering Novablasts.

Brooks ghost are a great all around running shoe. Good for every day runs. They tend to work well for a lot of different types of runners. I got my first pair of ghost in 4th grade (17 yrs ago!!) and still think they are a great shoe.
