One of the not so fun but absolutely necessary parts of parenting! Lots of choices and one of the categories where one size does not fit all and different products work better for different babies!

These are a clean diaper at a good price and are easily accessible (Target and Walmart). I wouldn't put newborn on your registry - buy one box and you'll be fine (some people don't even use newborn). You'll need a few boxes of size 1 and then they'll...
Millie Moon Luxury Diapers- Soft and Absorbant

Very clean! Great diaper! Love, love the all white! I agree these are great for skin issues, rashes, etc and I do think they are great at preventing blowouts and leaks BUT I still say the #1 thing preventing those is HOW a diaper fits your baby. Tend...
Coterie - The Diaper - Most Lux Diaper Out There

Coterie wipes don't get enough hype! Thick, durable, BIG! If they're in your budget, you won't regret it!
Coterie - The Wipe - BIG and Durable!

EWG verified, very clean wipe. I've never heard a bad thing! A little on the pricy side but well worth it for the clean ingredients and less expensive than other brands with similar ingredients.
Honest Unscented Plant-based* Clean Conscious™ Baby Wipes

BIG!!! Won't rip. Super clean ingredients. EWG verified. Incredible price. Available at Walmart!
Freestyle Jumbo Wipes - New!

Total chlorine free diaper at this price is a must try! I would 100% try these before Coterie. If they don't work - well, at least you tried! Also love that they're more accessible at Walmart. It was important to me for "daily necessities" to be easy...
Freestyle SkinShield™ Diapers - TCF, EWG Verified

I know myself well enough to know I did not want a large diaper pale. I wanted something I would be forced to empty every day or two so that stinky diapers didn't pile up. I love Simple Human trash cans - I have them all over my house- so this was ju...
Simple Human Butterfly Lid Trash Can

Known as a Millie Moon dupe! Soft and absorbant! Known for being really great on kiddos with repeated diaper rash issues. Not the best fit for longer babies!

Do not spend $100+ on a changing pad. I swear that thing is not life changing and there are a million less expensive options that do the exact same thing.
Jool Baby Waterproof, Wipeable Changing Pad

This is more my speed. I just couldn't get on board with the "wipeable" ones for some reason. The cold, hard surface didn't do it for me! Everyone I know that has one still puts a liner down on it so its not cold! Spend $30 on this and get some liner...
Munchkin Secure Grip Waterproof Changing Pad

Whether you use a traditional or wipeable pad, you'll want these! This brand is particularly absorbent. Easy to wash. Go with 2 packs if you can! Great registry item!
Washable Changing Pad Liner - Cloud Island™

This is bulkier than I was expecting but its worth it. So nice to be able to take this to the bathroom for changes - there's never anywhere to hang a diaper bag. Also use this when going somewhere I won't necessarily take a diaper bag - a quick outin...
DAGNE DOVER - Joey Changing Kit

I wanted something soft and cozy! Not cold and hard! Buy these - two packs if you're not a laundry person - and some pad liners and call it a day! No need for a $100+ changing pad. Definitely add to your registry.
Munchkin Soft Diaper Changing Pad Covers

Stick one of these in the top of whatever you're using for a diaper pail. Don't just toss odor absorbers in the bottom - the smell wafts to the top so it makes more sense to have there! Can refill with any brand of smell good packs but I do like this...
Fresh Wave Odor Removing Pack and Reusable Pod

Mackenzie Fraser profile picture
You can toss these in the bottom of the diaper pail or you can use their refillable pod and stick it at the top. I find the later works better since the smells seem to drift to the top. Heck, do both!
Fresh Wave Odor Removing Packs - For Diaper Pail!

I swear by these! Started this hack when nannying in college and thought it was genius. I can't imagine not doing it! I live in a small space so controlling odors was important to me. Step one - toss the #2 in the potty (if you can) and flush. Helps ...
Ubbi Diaper Sacks - Disposal Bags

This stuff works! I consider this a first line of defense product and is my go to at the first signs of a rash. I admit I am not the best at applying frequently for prevention but luckily we haven't had big rash issues. I will say - what works for on...
Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream

Mackenzie Fraser profile picture
All hail the spray!!! Zinc is typically the main active ingredient in any rash treatment and its just hard to get off which is why it works. Nothing worse than having hands covered in cream with a wiggly baby who needs to be redressed.
Boogie Wipes Diaper Rash Spray

This is more for prevention in my opinion. I've never seen it do much when applied to an existing rash. Great to have on hand - definitely add to your registry!
A + D Baby Diaper Rash Protectant with Vitamins A and D

Controversial item! People either love it or think its dumb. If you have long nails, BUY IT!!!! I also think its nice to have so caregivers can use it as opposed to having to use their fingers. You don't mind putting on your own kids booty, but would...
Baby Bum Brush Diaper Cream Spatula - Mini Size

Mackenzie Fraser profile picture
Using a diaper lotion is a french way of cleaning baby. Instead of using wipes, you put some of this on a cotton pad to clean baby's bottom. It leaves a light barrier that protects their skin and prevents diaper rash. Great for babies who get frequen...
La Petite Creme French Premium Diapering Lotion- EWG Verified

Mackenzie Fraser profile picture
These are the cotton pads to use with Le Petite Creme diapering lotion. I've only been able to find this size in the 3-pack but I figure if baby doesn't use them, I can! A lot of the larger cotton pads are textured which I wanted to avoid.
Swisspers Premium 100% Cotton Cleansing Pad

Absolutely do not buy a wipe warmer unless your baby is born in January and you live in North Dakota. Not necessary and will dry your wipes out! If you want to be aesthetic, just get a wipe dispenser. Makes it easy to pull out one wipe at a time.
Ubbi Wipes Dispenser

Even if you don't use a diaper caddy in your nursery, its great to have for around the house. Especially nice to keep on the opposite floor of your nursery if you live in a multi-story home. Also nice to have bedside when baby is sleeping in a bassin...
Parker Baby Co. Diaper Caddy

If you’re cloth diapering, I highly recommend this because of the cloth diaper liner they have available. Using disposable diapers and you insist on having a diaper pail, the Dekor is still great because you don’t have to use their refills- you can u...
