West Seattle is its own community just across the water from downtown Seattle. The main “downtown” area is on California Ave SW where you’ll find Easy Street Records, Molly Moon Ice Cream, and lots of local shops. If you’re visiting while the weather’s nice, head to Alki Beach or take a bike ride along Beach Drive. Visiting with a dog? Take them to West Crest Dog Park. Whether you’re taking a day trip via water taxi or visiting the “island” for a weekend, here’s a few favorite spots in West Seattle.
