The high yield textbook and questions are always extremely useful leading up to exam season
Passmedicine
By far the best app for active recall if you keep up with making your flash cards and reviewing them
Anki - powerful, intelligent flashcards
Probably one of the most useful all-round resources for med school. The concise explanations, clinical images and question bank make it especially useful when you’re trying to understand a topic rather than just memorise it.
AMBOSS
A lifesaver for clinical placements when you need to quickly check a score, calculator or clinical decision rule without digging through textbooks
MDCalc
The 3D models make anatomy so much easier to visualise, especially when you’re struggling to understand where structures are in relation to each other
Complete Anatomy - advanced 3D anatomy platform
So useful for OSCE prep, with clear guides for examinations, procedures and clinical skills. I’d definitely have this on my phone before practical exams.
Geeky Medics
The TeachMe series are great for quick revision when you don’t want to get buried in a massive textbook. The explanations are concise but still cover the important stuff.
TeachMeObGyn
I use this for keeping lecture notes, revision plans, checklists and random bits of information all in one place. Takes a bit of time to set up but can make med school feel much more organised.
Notion
A really useful clinical reference to have on placement, particularly for quickly checking drugs, conditions and clinical information.
