I’ve spent the last few years chasing waterfalls all across Australia, and Queensland has some of the very best! From tropical cascades hidden deep in the Daintree to easy roadside stops along the Tablelands, this list includes my absolute favourites...
Australia's highest single-drop waterfall! 💧
Wallaman Falls
This might just be the prettiest waterfall in all of Queensland 🤭
Millaa Millaa Falls
The perfect spot to cool off on a trip to the tip 🧡
Fruit Bat Falls
A hidden gem few people can find 💎
Gudda Gumoo (Rainbow Falls)
A spectacular waterfall you can drive to close to the Gold Coast ☀️
Purling Brook Falls
A 9km return hike to the top of these falls 🥾
Windin Falls
1/3 waterfalls in the Atherton Tablelands waterfall circuit 🚙
Zillie Falls
A shaded falls located on the Atherton Tablelands waterfall self-drive circuit 🌳
Ellinjaa Falls
Sooo many fun rock jumps and swimming holes 💦
Little Crystal Creek
Natural rock water slides and idyllic water holes 🙌🏼
Big Crystal Creek
You can't miss this one! A 4WD track in so minimal crowds and the most picturesque waterfall 🌴
Trevathan Falls
The perfect day trip from the Gold Coast to the top of these falls. Best visited at sunset ⛰️
Morans Falls
Short, easy walk from the carpark. Slide down the natural rock slide from the middle pool to the lower one! 🦋
Josephine Falls
Potential for crocs so this ones best just for looking 🐊
Wujal Wujal Falls
Unique as you can actually walk behind the two falls! 🤭
Twin Falls
I highly recommend booking a ride on the Kuranda Scenic Railway and seeing this waterfall on the journey - there's actually a train stop where you can jump off and see the falls 🚂
