I was hesitant as I was not familiar with her story and a little grumpy that there was a spin off while I’m waiting for the actual Bridgerton but 🥰 I absolutely love this! 100% a rewatch and binge

What I really loved about this show was the costumes, the unexpected twists and the character development! It has a different pace to Bridgeton but was still an enjoyable and easy to follow watch!
Outlander (TV Series 2014
Not the same time as Bridgeton (think a century later) but it has the family dynamics, the scandals, the beautiful homes and stunning costumes! I enjoyed the movies as well and I’m excited for the one coming out later this year!
Downton Abbey (TV Series 2010–2015)
The influence of Gossip Girl was probably a big part of why I found Bridgeton (with a secretive voice spilling all secrets) so appealing! Again, absolutely loved the love stories, the beautiful homes and gorgeous outfits!

Possibly a little darker but a great mix of heaviness and humor to break it ❤️ a true enemies to lovers tale and it will appeal to the history buffs amongst us ❤️
