Generally if I can't get into a book by chapter three I put it away forever. I'm not saying you won't like these. Some of them are very popular. But I have ADHD and a busy schedule so I won't waste my time if I'm not feeling it.

Suspense & Horror
I got farther into this book than any book I've quit before. It was a disjointed collection of short stories disquised as a novel and heavy with political commentary. Too heavy to be entertaining.
Wake Up and Open Your Eyes
Apparently this was originally a web series and the format wasn't changed to turn it into a novel. It doesn't flow well and is annoyingly repetitive.
The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, the Vampire Accountant
It was fun to get looks of concern in the lunchroom at work, but the book just didn't deliver. I DNFed around 40%.
Murder Your Employer: The McMasters Guide to Homicide
Historical Fiction
I wanted to like this because of the location and time period. But I couldn't get into it and did not like the characters.
A Map to Paradise
Romance
The writing was not great. The characters and story didn't make sense.
The Writer: A Psychological Thriller Romance
Science Fiction
Bizarre. Pretentious. From the beginning I felt like I was already supposed to know who the characters were and what was going on.
Spare Man
I made it about halfway through the book but was so confused I couldn't read another page. Time travel is one of my favorite genres.
