True Crime
Ones that make you go “Hmm..”
So easy to binge these, especially if I am exercising or cleaning! Every story is captivating in it's own right. The narration is always spot on and it is always well done.
Dateline NBC
Such a good listen! Binged every episode & watched the show! Both were great! Crazy what people will do for drugs and money!
Dirty John
This one got me HOOKED from the beginning!! Every season has it's own vibe and you truly get invested in the case. (Totally listening to the newest season now!) I love the exposure that Payne gives these small town cases.
Up and Vanished: The investigation of the disappearance of Tara ...
Love the narration and the attention she draws to cases in her own area in the Ozarks. This last season was such a cool idea, and I love that she moved on to other individual cases to help people get some answers.
Hell and Gone
I had never heard of Justin Alexander on social media, so it was very sad to hear what had happened to such a genuine person. Worth a listen!
Status: Untraced
Both seasons were SO well done! Neil Strauss is one of my favorite hosts! Great voice and really knows how to capture your attention and KEEP IT!
To Live and Die in L.A.
I was so excited when this series finally came out! It was great to see that someone so big such as Dateline would put the spotlight on unsolved missing persons cases. It was informational and I think that was a good change from the story format that...
Dateline: Missing In America
Such a shocking and sad story. Really opens your eyes up to what other people have to deal with on a daily basis.
Forgotten: Women of Juárez
Stories
Ones to entertain!
If you like creepy stories but also funny hosts— BAM! You get both! The host is Rainn Wilson, and it reminds me so much of Tales from The Crypt!
Radio Rental podcast

I love the combination of real-life facts & history, tied into a really well written story!
The Black Tapes Podcast
If you like old time radio shows AND old detective stories, this one is a great one! The host plays a few different shows on a weekly basis. But they do get addictive to listen to!
The Great Detectives of Old Time Radio
Wondery did a great job capturing the classic “Catfish” episodes into a podcast form. Nev's narration was perfect and I loved hearing him expand his resume past being an MTV actor.
Catfish: The Podcast- Wondery
Serial introduced me to podcasts, and I FELL IN LOVE! The first season I feel was a great start and it only got better from there. Great journalism!
