items As an event director, I often get asked what activities or stops people should make when coming to Utah for a week or 2 in the Summer. These are a few of my favorite suggestions, with positive feedback from those that take my advice :)
Just a 10 minute drive up Provo Canyon…Sundance Resort has so much to offer. Of course views to die for, but lift rides, restaurants, hiking, biking, scenic drives, 10/10 recommend spending some time in Sundance if you come to Utah!

Visit Utah County in June and attend the Parade of Homes! Over 40,000 people attend, coming from all over the US. The homes are absolutely stunning, the most beautiful quality craftsmanship and design. You can walk through 30-40 custom built homes over the course of 2+ weeks. It's definitely a Utah favorite!

If you have time to hike Mountain Timpanogos I highly recommend it! It took me 11 hours total, 6 up and 5 down…and it can be very difficult for some people. Make sure you are prepared but it's an absolutely breathtaking hike in Utah!!

Lake Powell is a Utah vacation staple! The lake is huge, and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Perfect camping and boating location. Extremely HOT some summer months so make sure you are prepared with all the essentials, especially water, if you visit. Lake Powell is a MUST at least once in this lifetime. Most Utahns have probably been most summers…I know it was a yearly vacation for our family and it's an amazing vacation every single time.

Hi the Kanarra Falls in Kanarraville. This is a popular hike in Utah. Hike through water, and do some fun climbs. At the first large waterfall you will need to scale a 20′ ladder. They have a permit system so you must sign up on their website.

Hands down the BEST location in Utah if you plan to visit. Endless activities to enjoy, nature, and the most beautiful redrock and structures you must witness in this lifetime!
Moab Utah
Stunning views in this park. My favorite is the drive to get to Zion, Rockville and Springdale are adorable to drive through and see the homes, landscape of course, little shops and eateries. Zion is a favorite in Utah!

This is one of the best shopping spots in Utah. Great deals, beautiful location, and impossible not to find something for everyone in the family.
Junction Commons | Park City
If you find yourself in Park City you must hit up the Alpine Slides. They have 4 different tracks. It's fun to ride the lift up to the mountain and walk to the top of the slides with a sled. They are really pretty fast and it's SO beautiful sliding down the mountain in Park City.

You have not seen views until you've seen Bryce Canyon! Absolutely stunning views from everywhere. This is a must-see at least once in your lifetime!
