Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is the single most useful daytime active for combination skin because it solves three problems at once.
It regulates sebum production in the T-zone, tightens the appearance of enlarged pores, and calms redness on dry cheeks.
After cleansing, dispense 2 to 3 drops onto slightly damp skin, press gently into the face, and wait 1 to 2 minutes before applying moisturizer and sunscreen.
Do not layer multiple high-concentration actives in the morning.
Niacinamide alone covers your daytime needs.

These are your nighttime problem solvers. BHA (Salicylic Acid) is oil-soluble, which means it penetrates deep inside pore walls to dissolve the trapped sebum and dead skin cells that cause blackheads and whiteheads.
Azelaic Acid tackles the aftermath of breakouts by calming inflammatory redness and fading stubborn dark marks.
Apply 2 to 3 drops to clean, completely dry skin 2 to 3 nights a week, then follow with your moisturiser.
Do not use BHA every night. Do not combine BHA with retinoids on the same night.
And do not apply high-strength actives on active, open acne lesions that are still raw or broken.

This section covers the two most powerful long-term treatments in skincare. Vitamin C is a stable antioxidant that brightens dull skin tone, fades post-inflammatory dark spots, and protects against free-radical damage from UV exposure and pollution.
Retinoids accelerate skin cell turnover, clear stubborn pore blockages, and stimulate collagen production over months of consistent use.
Use Vitamin C on nights when you are not using BHA.
Use retinoids on separate nights entirely, starting with once a week and increasing gradually.
Never use retinoids during the day, and never skip your morning sunscreen while using any retinoid treatment.
Retinoids make your skin significantly more sun sensitive.

These are the supporting players that keep your skin balanced when active treatments and Indian summer heat push it to the edges.
Hyaluronic acid serums pull water into the deeper layers of the skin, plumping fine lines and calming the tight, parched feeling on your cheeks caused by AC and strong actives. Apply them to clean, damp skin before your moisturizer to lock in the hyd...
Never apply hyaluronic acid to completely dry skin in a dry, air-conditioned room without sealing it with moisturizer on top, because it can actually pull moisture out of the skin instead of pulling it in.
For mid-day T-zone shine, resist the urge to rewash your face.
Rewashing strips essential moisture and damages the barrier.
Instead, gently press a blotting sheet against the oily areas for 2 to 3 seconds.
