Essentials you need to have when sewing.
Dissolves with water - I use this for basting and even making quick mockups on final fabric during fitting. Life changer.
Water Soluble Thread
There's a bigger "pro" version too but I like this one for compactability. Customer aftersales for Oliso is great too.
Mini Iron
Most reliable than other brands.
Triangle Tailors Chalk (White)
Yes, you need this.
Dritz 562 Wool Tailor's Ham, Brown, 1 Count
I hoard these. They're great for basting tricky fabrics or sometimes when you dont want to deal pins or stitches. Comes off in the wash. Leaves no residue.
This is a great brand for rulers but you can go for a cheaper one. Make sure its transparent - useful for grading. Markings get scratched off eventually though
Pattern Grading Ruler 60cm
Iron right on your cutting table, I even put it under my machine for stability and to quickly press seams without having to stand up
ALUMINUM COVERED IRON MAT
Made this for my e-ink and love how it makes recording measurements feel more professional
