Aloe vera, which is a succulent, is another low-maintenance plant due to minimal watering and it's tolerance for neglect.
Aloe vera plants need to be watered every few weeks, when the soil is completely dry. They thrive in bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light. Too much direct sunlight can burn the leaves.
Terracotta pots are recommended for aloe plants due to that the plants need well-drained soil and to prevent overwatering and root rot.
