In Korea, it’s rare for dramas to have more than one season, and if they do, they rarely follow the typical Western format of season finales with cliffhangers. However, in recent years, a few series, especially those from platforms like Netflix, have...

Complete Series
One of my favorite series, and one of the few where I loved the second season even more than the first. They were planning a third, but it seems that idea has been scrapped. So sad!
Tale of the Nine Tailed (2020-2023)
Another favorite of mine! I loved both seasons, though the dynamic in the second one is a bit different from the first—not necessarily in a bad way. I didn’t mind the change of actress, as it was expected given the story, and the new actress was actu...
Alchemy of Souls (2022-2023)
After a few years, they finally came back with a second season! I loved the first one—it made me laugh so much, and I fell in love with many of the characters. What I didn’t like, though, is that some of the characters from the first season didn’t re...
The Fiery Priest (2019) - (2024)
I enjoyed the first season, but I’m not sure how I feel about the last two. I only really liked the storyline with the soldiers. I also didn’t like how they removed certain characters from the first season.
Sweet Home (2020-2024)
I absolutely love Prison Playbook, and Hospital Playlist follows a similar format. Even though I don’t usually enjoy medical dramas, I really liked the stories and characters in this one. They’re even planning a spin-off soon!
Hospital Playlist (2020-2021)
An amazing show that left me traumatized. I loved both seasons and wouldn’t mind if they made another one, even though the second season’s ending was satisfying.
D.P. (2021-2023)
This is a series I really enjoyed. I loved the first two seasons, but I feel like a third one wasn’t necessary—especially because I hated a particular decision the writers made about a character from the second season.
Let's Eat (2014-2018)
Another medical drama with heartfelt stories and strong characters, so it makes sense for it to continue. So far, there are three seasons, but it’s unclear if there will be a fourth.
Dr. Romantic (2016-2023)
Although the second season didn’t have as much hype as the first, this is a series that could continue due to its plot structure. So far, there’s no news about another season, but I highly recommend it.
The Uncanny Counter (2020-23)
The story and the characters are great. It has two seasons and even a spin-off. I love all of them, but I think I enjoyed season one the most. Still, it’s highly recommendable!
Stranger (2017-2020)
Another great drama with supernatural and mystery elements. I cried a lot!!! It only has two seasons.
Missing: The Other Side (2020-2023)
Kingdom had so much potential! It has two seasons and a spin-off, but since the first spin-off didn’t perform well, it seems the second one has been canceled. Such a shame!
Kingdom (2019-2020)
This series has the kind of premise—paramedics, firefighters, and first responders—that works perfectly for multiple seasons. I enjoyed it a lot and wouldn’t mind seeing more seasons.
The First Responders (2022-2023)
I loved this series so much because of the world-building and the story. It has three main seasons and a fourth (or second, depending on how you look at it), but the new season doesn’t feature the same main actors, which was disappointing. Still, it ...
Arthdal Chronicles (2019-2013)
Coming Soon
One of my all-time favorites! I’ve been waiting for years for the second season, and it seems like we’ll finally get it in 2025. I really hope it lives up to the first season, which set the bar so high.
Signal (2016 -?)
Another favorite! More than the story itself, I need a continuation because of the characters. As long as the plots stay interesting and the main characters—and their bromance—remain as great as ever, I’d happily watch 10 more seasons of this show.
Bloodhounds (2023-?)
Because of the lawyer setup and the characters, I think this series has great potential for multiple seasons. We’re now eagerly awaiting the second season, excited to see more stories from the supporting characters as well.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022-?)
Another favorite of mine, with two seasons and a third one on the way! The case-solving format and the main characters' stories make it work perfectly as a multiseason show. As long as the same actors remain and the stories stay interesting, I wouldn...
Taxi Driver (2021 - ?)
Like First Responders, this police-and-crime drama works well with multiple seasons due to its nature. It already has four seasons, and I’m eagerly waiting for the fifth, though it’s a shame the lead actor from the first season isn’t returning.
Voice (2017 -?)
I loved Castle, and this series has many elements that remind me of it—action, comedy, and a bit of romance. It’s a format that works well for multiple seasons, and I’m really looking forward to the second one!
Flex X Cop (2024 - ?)
It was confirmed that a new season is coming, and I'm so happy! The world-building, the characters, the powers—there’s so much more to explore in this series. I’m thrilled that it’s returning! I loved the first season and every single one of its char...
Moving (2023-?)
I’m looking forward to the second season of this series, though I wouldn’t mind if it had stayed as a standalone. The story was good, but I’m not eagerly anticipating its return—especially since some characters won’t be coming back.
All of Us Are Dead (2022-?)
I love stories about teams coming together to fight crime, and this is one of those series. The format is perfect for multiple seasons (it currently has two, and there might be a third, though nothing is confirmed). It’s highly recommended if you enj...
Player (2018 - ?)
I initially thought this series didn’t need a second season, maybe just an extra episode or two, but after seeing the trailer for the second season, it looks promising! The only downside is that Netflix split the season, so now we’ll have to wait for...
