Built right in to Fort Harrison State Park! Part of the Pete Dye trail known for its terrain and nature-feel
The Fort Golf Resort
Redesigned in 1992 by the famous architect, Pete Dye. This course will cost you, but is most famous for its 4 holes which are inside of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's track!
Brickyard Crossing
36 holes of Pete Dye golf built right beside Eagle Creek Park! These courses are known for their sloping fairways, great views, and fair prices!
Eagle Creek Golf Club
Yet another one of Pete Dyes courses! This course is one of the cheapest in Indianapolis, but beware, it is busy! One advantage to this course is that it is practically open all year, so on chillier days you might have the course all to yourself!
Sahm Golf Course
Outside city limits, but not far!
These courses don't have an Indianapolis, IN address, but are nothing more than 45 minutes away from downtown!
Often listed in top 100 lists in the USA, this course boasts a links-esque design with several tee box options allowing for players of all skill levels to play!
Purgatory Golf Club
A hidden gem about 35 minutes from Indianapolis! This course is known for being in great shape, a great challenge, and for having unique bear paw-shaped features throughout the course.
Bear Slide Golf Club
Another hidden gem about 30-40 minutes from Indianapolis. This course was designed by Pete Dye's Apprentice, Tim Liddy, and you can tell! This course is one of my personal favorites in the area.
The Trophy Club
This country club is semi-private, with very fair prices for the public! This course is always in good condition, sits low right by Conner Prairie, and forces players to be creative from the tee box often.
River Glen Country Club
Great golf course with super fair prices! Also known for it's expansive practice facility, with many heated driving range bays, indoor simulator bays, and even an entire indoor putting green!
Gray Eagle Golf Course
The only Robert Trent Jones design in Indiana! This course has many accolades, known for hosting many of the IHSAA State Championship tournaments as well as having a very prestigious practice facility.
Prairie View Golf Club
Another great Pete Dye designed course! This course has plenty of water holes as well as plenty of holes which force you to think on the tee shot.
Plum Creek Golf Club
Just NW of Indianapolis, this course is known for being open all year, with paved cart paths everywhere, and for being very well manicured! A highly recommended course by many.
