I’m from Orlando, but don’t live there anymore. These are the restaurants that keep me visiting. And I know some of these are not IN Orlando technically but they are so worth the drive!

Easily the best Filipino food I’ve had in America. They put such a unique spin on everything. It’s so good that we went back multiple times in one week. Michelin rating EARNED!
Kaya
Initially very apprehensive about soy sauce in ice cream. But…it works?? Their flavors are out of this world!!! There’s a reason they stay busy.
Sampaguita Ice Cream
You ever eat somewhere and feel like you stumbled into a secret society of flavor? That’s this place. The empanadas are sooo good and everything is extremely consistent. Worth the drive
THE PASS KITCHEN
Don’t play with me. Sherri’s doubles might’ve made me emotional. Real island auntie energy in every bite. Curry, buss up shut, callaloo, everything slaps and it’s affordable? Bless up Sherri.
Sherry's Trini Flavors
This is not your uncle’s backyard BBQ (no shade to him though). These meats are smoked like they studied the science of flavor. The brisket? Baby. The ribs? Tender like a love song. Pull up hungry.
Smokemade Meats + Eats
Underrated wing joint with serious heat. The flavors are bold, the crunch is real, and the lemon pepper wet got me acting up. Bonus points for their fries too.
Wing Alley
If spice makes you question your life choices but you still can’t stop eating, welcome home. That Nashville-style heat? Spiritual. But they balance it with flavor so you’re not just suffering.
JAM Hot Chicken
Dawg. This burger was so good I wanted to cry. This is the grilled cheese of your childhood but grown up, with better ingredients and zero shame. Also, the fries w extra seasoning? Say less. I’m there.
Cow & Cheese (@eatcowandcheese)
Authentic, flavorful, and always hits when I need something warm and soulful. The duck buns got me kicking my legs under the table. Comfort food with flair.
KUNGFU KITCHEN (LAKE BUENA VISTA)
That cheese bun??? Soft, stretchy, salty-sweet heaven. I don’t even know how to explain it, just go. Get two. One for now, one for the car ride.
Chiffon Culture Bakery Cafe (@chiffonculture)
A cute lil Korean-French bakery that makes me feel like I’m in Seoul and Paris at the same time. The pastries are soft, sweet, and just bougie enough to justify my third visit this week. That matcha lavender drink be hittinnnn.
Tous les Jours
Sharing a platter at Selam will either bond you for life or test your self-control. Injera for days and the lentils?? Whew. Spice, comfort, and culture all in one meal.
Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine
The drinks gon have you on your a**, but that’s what all the food is for. 😂Bomb food, so well seasoned and so consistent.
