This list is for everyone! Want a New Orleans food experience? I gotchu. Being forced to go to NOLA and you hate seafood/creole food? I gotchu too. This is a list of restaurants, crawfish shops, and dessert places that I’ve eaten at my whole life/haven’t stopped thinking about since I last went. I split this list into: your average foods but at restaurants you won’t find in NOLA, best dessert stops, seafood (grilled + fried), NOLA cuisine/creole, homestyle cooking, and fancy restaurants for when you have a little extra cash.

Shopping for my dorm was THE most stressful thing. Every time you look up a guide there’s either too much, too little, or it’s decoration focused. This list balances decorations and things I ABSOLUTELY needed in my dorm as a girl (and just in general). This year I wanted to focus on only bringing the things with me that I knew I couldn’t do without, because packing up my room last year was so stressful with all the stuff I didn’t need 😩 so when making this list I looked around my room and found everything I got from Amazon that I genuinely couldn’t do without.
