If you want a beach vibe without the crowds, rip tides and crazy waves, this place is great!! $7 a car gets you access to the beach and picnic areas.
Sandling Beach at Falls Lake State Recreation Area - Raleigh Tot Spots
Fun for the little ones and the big ones too!! Head over to the inclusive playground before or after getting cooled off. This park also has hiking, fishing, and much more.

We love this park! Playgrounds, basketball, tennis, baseball, dog park, shelters....and then for fees there is mini golf, a carousel, an aquatic center.
Northeast Park | Guilford County, NC
The Town of Elon has Beth Schmidt and Slade Parks. Between the two there are trails, basketball courts, corn hole, disc golf, a dog park, space to rent and in the summer movies on the lawn with free popcorn!!!
