From chains to local, these are some of my favorite coffee shops that I have been to and can’t recommend enough.

Whenever I visit my brothers in Knoxville, I make sure to hit up K Brew. They have a great bagel and shmear selection and even better coffee. My favorite latte, which is seasonal sadly, is the Lemon Cookie Latte.
K Brew
The first coffee shop I tried when I first moved to Kent. Their seasonal menu is always changing and there is a big selection of drinks to choose from. Their pastry case is massive and they also sell wine.
Tree City Coffee & Pastry
Another great Kent coffee shop. They roast their own beans, which you can buy in house and at local grocery stores.
Bent Tree Coffee Roasters
Right up the road from Bent Tree and just as good! They also have their own coffee beans in a wide variety of flavors. Their specialty lattes are delicious and they offer tasty pastries as well.
– Scribbles Coffee Company –
This is a newer coffee shot in Kent near Tannery Park. It is a small, family owned shop and the owners are so nice. Their flavored lattes are delicious, they partner with local bakeries for their baked goods, and they offer coffee buckets!
Capybara Coffeehouse
One of my favorite chain coffee shops. The drive-thru and walk up window are very convenient and they offer numerous customization options.
The Human Bean
I have fallen into the 7 Brew trap and don’t want to be freed. I am a sucker for their Sweet & Salty and love how many sugar-free options they have!
7 Brew Coffee
This coffee shops holds meaning because it was the first place my husband and I visited before tour an apartment in Ravenna, a city that became our home for almost 5 years. Their coffees and pastries are delicious and they have a great food menu. The...
Bean and the Baker
My hometown finally had a coffee shop! I was able to try it my last trip home and I loved it! The coffee was great (drinks can be made with espresso or cold brew if ordered iced) and they had a nice bakery selection. The specialty drinks are always c...
The Neighbors Coffee & Books
My husband introduced me to this place and I am obsessed! Their pastries are amazing and they are always rotating their options. I’ve only had one of their coffees, and I thought it was decent. It is on the pricey side as this is a French pastry them...
Morning Star Bakery and Cafe
This coffee shop is a comfy and cozy spot in the heart of downtown Barberton. They host open mic nights and have a wall designated for local artists. The coffee is also delicious. I got a sugar-free pumpkin white mocha that was deliciously sweet!
