a digital food scale is super important. Most of sourdough recipes are in grams , as it’s the most accurate form of measurement for baking. and not only do i use it for my sourdough , but all my baking too !!

i love these jars ! i typically look for a jar that doesn’t have a neck to make it easier to stir the starter. and this one comes with a little cover and measuring band !

now this really isn’t necessary to bake a loaf , but this is my favorite product i own in the sourdough world . i personally can never cut my loaves evenly or easily with a bread knife . this is a game changer!

i recommend these for when you’re bulk fermenting your sourdough. these are easy , especially if you go for disposable ones . and you won’t have to worry about ruining your kitchen towels !

If you start to sell your loaves , i use these because they are super cute but still keep the bread fresh
