Outdoor Activities
These are the outdoorsy things to do in Las Vegas. This includes beautiful drives with amazing scenery, hiking trails, and a state park with a home you can tour that was formerly owned by the late Howard Hughes.
This is great if you love beautiful flowers and plants. I went here with my camera club and got some great photos.
Springs Preserve
Just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the city, Red Rock Canyon is a beautiful drive, and they have some awesome trails too.

A must see if you are visiting Las Vegas.
Valley of Fire State Park
This Ranch was once owned by Howard Hughes, among other famous names. It's so peaceful out here. You can tour the home, walk the grounds, have a picnic and buy a souveneir from the gift shop. I truly love this place.

These are some of my favorite restaurants to eat at in Las Vegas. From Teppanyaki, to Pizza, Barbeque, and Mexican food and the best little cafe' for hamburgers, pastrami sandwiches and more.
This is by far my favorite Teppanyaki Restaurant.
Geisha House Steak & Sushi
This is a great place if you like to eat different types of meat and as much as you want. There is a salad bar as well.
Texas de Brazil - Las Vegas
Even though this is a franchise, Round Table Pizza is the very best.

This is a casual dining place, and the ambiance is very cozy. I love the food here and the prices aren't too bad either.
Big B's Texas BBQ
Good old fashioned diner food that is incredible. They have the leanest, best Pastrami Sandwich I've ever had in my life. When I have out of town guests, I always bring them here for lunch before they leave town.
Pit Stop
The food is pretty good here, especially the chile rellenos.
Casa Don Juan
If you like Guacamole, this is the place to get the best guac. My husband and I have been coming here for over 20 years.
Que Mas Mexican Cafe
Other Food & Drinks
These are more to grab on the go than to sit and eat or drink, with the exception of Kneader's Bakery and Smoothie King.
Although this is a drive-thru only coffee shop, I think they are the best place. Way better than Starbucks.
NV - Las Vegas, Camino Al Norte
I really love their orange rolls and I buy them every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe
I love their smoothies because they are healthier than Jamba Juice or Tropical Smoothie. I always get the Vegan Dark Chocolate Banana smoothie.

This used to be an old post office and now, you get to listen in on Mob Surveillance tapes. It's quite interesting.
The Mob Museum
Although I haven't been here yet, I've heard a lot of stories about this place. It's well worth a visit. Just make sure you put a protection of white light around you or carry a piece of black tourmaline or selenite with you.
Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum
I absolutely love coming here. I've toured this museum many times. I love going through the houses and getting a glimpse of all the retro and vintage appliances and furniture. You may feel the energy of the past lingering in the air.
Clark County Museum
There is always live music playing on Fremont street. The vibe is much more casual than the pretentious feel of the strip.
