I've lived in Boston for the last almost 4 years (crazy) so here is a list of some of my favorite restaurants and bars in the area! I always thought the Boston food scene was a little subpar but turns out you just have to know where to look :)

The BEST classic steakhouse in boston, you really cannot go wrong with anything here, especially the milk and cookies at the end :)
Grill 23 & Bar
Gorg views of Boston but the most insane olive oil gelato I've ever had I literally dream of it
Contessa Boston
A newer ish spot but good tapas style and something different than your typical steakhouse

Another newer version of a steakhouse but omg is it good too, like wow
Mooo.... Beacon Hill
Think boujie chinese food, it's unmatched and the ambiance is so good

Known for their original spot on Nantucket, the sushi here is next level good and so is the spicy tuna crispy rice you honestly can't go wrong with anything
LoLa 42
Asian fusion with seafood but like tapas style? I mean I can't even talk about how good this place is. my mouth is watering
Nautilus Pier 4
Old school italian meets new age vibe so good and has a fun bar downstairs super cute and insane food
The Red Fox
Another absolute banger italian place like everything is so good, I can't handle it you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu
Prima Italian Steakhouse
Good For Big Groups
Spots that are good for 6+ people, ideal for sharing and won't break the bank
I grew up going to the original in Fairfield CT and all locations never disappoint, really can't go wrong here, the chorizo and figs are by far my fave
Barcelona Wine Bar
Another good more vibey tapas spot, fun for birthdays and good drinks
Boqueria Seaport
Greek tapas style restaurant and honestly soooo good and the drinks are insanely good and reasonably priced
Committee
Asian fusion tapas style that will literally rock your world, such a good ambiance and the food is insanely good
Banyan Bar + Refuge
Classic mexican place in seaport with great food and drinks can't go wrong here
Lolita Fort Point
SLEPT ON!!! I love this place and they always have reservations and it's in such a good location in the south end
Burro Bar South End
SO GOOD and have a secret bar speakeasy downstairs it's such a vibe and the food is next level good
Faccia a Faccia
If you want to be in southie watching football eating wings with all the young kids this is the spot a casual sports bar
The Playwright
I think the best food in southie (not saying much) but a good spot away from most of the craziness of broadway and you can usually get a last min res
Publico Street Bistro

Fun beer garden in the heart of seaport with live music, food trucks, merch, drinks what more could you want
Cisco Brewers Seaport
The newest to the Boston summer spots, a huge addition I might add. Killer food and drinks and live music, AND outdoor tvs for football it's awesome
Park City Southie
Usually you can drink outside here, sometimes they've cracked down on it, idk not a huge beer or cider gal myself but some people are into it!
Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall
This spot stays open most of the year they just open igloos in the winter so it's less enjoyable. In the summer great views, subpar overpriced drinks but everyones there for the vibes right?
Rooftop at The Envoy
A Boston staple, only open in the warm months, grab a drink and hang on the water and eat a lobster roll its the most electric vibes ever
The Barking Crab
This is the ultimate summer drinking spot. An old boat that doesn't move, couches you can rent, a water taxi you can take from downtown boston to it, the vibes truly don't get better than this.
The Tall Ship Boston
Used to be called Six West, on top of a hotel in Southie and the most slept on in this whole list. I used to frequent my first summer in Boston, then it was closed and now it's reopened and better than ever!
