The first two books are a duet or a sequel if you will, and the last two are standalones. All of them are so well written and will make you feel what the characters feel.
If We Ever Meet Again (If Love, #1) by Ana Huang
This duet can be very triggering especially in the second book. I would recommend looking up the TW (trigger warnings) before reading. If you are a dark romance reader this is a must read.

Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi
If you’re into thriller books this is a great rec. The whole book leaves you on the edge of your seat and will make you want to read it every chance you get. The plot twist is incredibly mind blowing and will leave you wanting more.

We all know how everyone feels about Colleen, BUT this is her best book. It’s a thriller and has an amazing plot. Fun fact: it’s being made into a movie (praying it’s not as bad as her other book turned into movie lol)
