Kelaguen can either have a base of chicken, fish, or shrimp. It’s mixed with hot red or green chili peppers, green onion, yellow onion and seasoned with vinegar, lemon, black pepper.

I love dried beef. It’s a bit tough to eat at first but the smokey and savory goodness of it is the best!

Guam’s KFC is the best in the world. If you want to try Chamorro food but you’re on a budget and in a hurry, drive through kfc.

Like Meskla, Three Squares serves Chamorro dishes in bougie platters. Enjoy a wide range of plates and even order large servings for parties.

Meskla is the number one restaurant that serves the best Chamorro buffet in my opinion. From the classic bbq and red rice to dried meat, kelaguen, etc. they serve mimosas too!! It’s like one’s home cooking meets fine dining.

Chahan, ramen, gyoza, fried chicken, yakisoba… The most popular and busiest Japanese restaurant on island. You’ll be waiting 40 mins for a table. That’s how delicious their dishes are. Worth the wait though!

Joinus is in the Tumon Sands Plaza. You can either sit at a table or by the teppanyaki. I recommend having the Mixed Gozen Bento! Tempura, steamed egg, steak, chicken, bacon-wrapped shrimp, miso soup, rice, this is perfection.

Green Door is a hidden gem on Guam. It’s a Japanese restaurant not many people know about. They serve the best curry on island. You can have it with katsu, fried crab, or menchi.

Marugame is so good!! Select your udon and tempura and pay and enjoy! I recommend having the curry nikutama, which is udon in curry broth with beef and egg. I love the shrimp tempura, potato croquette, and squash tempura.

You need to have the pancit malabon here! I’m not much of a pancit fan, but their dish makes me eat it!
