Materials
Super lightweight setup for plein air painting--should hook onto a regular camera tripod (double check first). Can handle a canvas or panel up to 14" tall. Contains palette. Better price at Cheap Joe's. Comes in 3 sizes--the large is only 3lbs.
New Wave u.go Plein Air Anywhere - Pochade Box, Large
For larger canvases, up to 20" tall. Great for plein air painting! Need a special tripod. Not a pochade box--will need a separate surface for palette.
Jack Richeson Sienna Plein Air Compact Canvas/Panel Holder
Fits the u.go large pochade box. Opens from the side and has lots of space and compartments for art materials.
WITZMAN Canvas Vintage Travel Laptop Backpack
Carries multiple sizes of wet panels, if you're making more than one painting at a time. Comes in 2 sizes. They also have one that only carries one size panel, if you know what you like to work with.
Painting Carriers (Multi Width)
Holds canvas up to 25 inches tall! Can hold stretched canvas or canvas board. The palette is only 2 rods upon which to place your own sturdy board--I would recommend getting a separate attachable one (like they have on cupeasels.com)
Lightweight Artist Easel and Palette Holder by LederEasel. Best for Plein Air and studio painting. Great for oils, watercolors and pastels.
This is a good size, with a cup hole on the right or left, depending on your preference. Would pair nicely with the Ledereasel in this list.
Tripod Cup Shelf
Fits the cupshelf brand palettes. A nice little collapsible cup for your travel art needs! They probably have comparable ones on amazon as well.
Collapsible Water Cup
Such a handy way to transport your french easel! This chair is such a great idea. Includes large pockets for storage. On sale for $90. Can buy it as a bundle with a french easel.
The ArtComber Blue, Portable Rolling Art Chair w/ Storage
Super handy bundle--you get a foldable chair with wheels that carries your french easel. It's about 14lbs. Great if you don't want to buy a bunch of separate pieces for your setup.
Artcomber Portable Chair Black & Monet French Easel, Travel Set
I love portability on this one! Able to hold larger canvases, so if you like to work big, this may be the setup for you.

He has some clever ideas that streamline plein air setups. I love the addition of a metal board and magnets to keep things from blowing away.
