For the traveler who loves the idea of adventure, but also wants the creature comforts of home.
For keeping perishables cool when you don't have access to a fridge or hard-sided cooler. It deflates and rolls down to a pretty compact and packable size. Claims to keep ice cold for 24 hours. This is great for someone like me, who has food allergies and can't always eat at restaurants easily, so I can bring my own food wherever we go.
ICEMULE Classic Collapsible Sling Strap Cooler
This is obviously great for camping--but also if you just plan on traveling and don't want to buy water because you don't quite trust the quality in the area you're going to. It folds down to a small size and holds 1.5 gallons. Head's up--you need to reserve some clean water to flush out the filter straw after emptying the large bag. It worked really well the first cycle, but I didn't have fresh water to flush with, so the water tasted different after that.
Waterdrop Gravity Water Filter Straw
This is great for airplanes! They don't really filter the air on planes, so this is a portable solution that helps give you some fresh air. It's also great for hotel rooms to provide clean air and a nice fan sound to sleep to. It has a rechargeable battery, which doesn't last super long on the high setting, so either bring a power bank or a laptop to plug it into.
Mini Portable Air Purifier - HEPA Filter
It's a padded hoodie with neck and chin support, and a sensory deprivation mask built in--what a great idea! You'll be more likely to get some shut-eye while traveling.
PLUTO POD - The Ultimate Travel Pillow
Totally packable, soft-sided, and keeps ice cook for 36+ hours! Holds 24 cans, or 5 bottles of wine. There's a smaller, backpack version available too. It's a little pricey, but seems worth it.
The Shasta 23L Cooler
This is a great travel companion for those with dry noses! It's easy to bring on a plane and helps a lot with the dry airplane air. Super gentle. I'm mad this is only marketed for babies.
