I love dystopian stories because they always make me think about what I’d do in impossible situations. These are the ones that actually stuck with me after watching, some popular, some super underrated, but all worth it.

This movie made me rethink “rich vs poor” in the craziest way. Super unique world-building.
Snowpiercer
The vibe is dark, but the message hits hard. One of the most realistic dystopias I’ve seen.
Children of Men
A classic one. Not the deepest movie ever, but I’m not gonna lie, the mystery hooked me instantly.
The Maze Runner
Another classic. I watched it again recently and it still holds up. The faction system is so cool to imagine.
Divergent
The visuals are calm but the theme hits you at the end. Good gateway dystopia.
The Giver
This one is intense and kind of gross at times, but the concept is powerful.
The Platform
This movie stressed me out in the best way. You feel like you can’t breathe with them.
A Quiet Place
I didn’t expect to enjoy this one so much. Small cast, big surprises.
I Am Mother
This one is heavy emotionally, but if you’re into raw survival stories, it hits different.
The Road
TV Shows
I watched this during a stressful week and got way too hooked. The drama gets wild but the characters pulled me in.
The 100
This show surprised me. It’s low-budget but creative and the tension feels real.

I liked the show for giving the universe more depth. You start rooting for people you didn’t expect to.
Snowpiercer (Series)
I had to take breaks sometimes because it feels way too real. Amazing storytelling though.
The Handmaid's Tale
Some episodes stuck in my head for days. It’s not binge-friendly… but in a good way.
Black Mirror
I was mad it got canceled because it had potential. Still worth watching.
