I have been fortunate enough to ski since I was two years old, and grew up as a competitive ski racer for over 10 years. From my experience, this is everything you need to hit the slopes in style and stay warm while doing it. From cozy layers to must...

This ski is seriously the best because it is great for any experience level. They are great for big mountain, powder, groomers or moguls… you can do everything. I highly recommend these if you are a newby and looking to buy your first pair, or a savv...
Elan Ripstick 94 Ski - 2025 - Women's
Stylish, no fog, magnetic removable lenses. What more could you want? This goggle is on the pricier side, but it's worth the money. Smith goggles typically come with two lenses as well, one for sun and one for cloudy days.
Smith Goggles
For the more aggressive and experienced female skiier, these boots are perfect. They have the handling like a race boot, but the comfort of a plush snowboard boot. They are also so warm, have walk mode and pins for touring.
Rossignol Alltrack Elite 110 LT GW Ski Boots
This is a pretty inexpensive and well rated helmet that I personally have. I have had my helmet for years and will probably buy the same one! It doesn't have built in speakers or anything like that, but it works in the ways in should (protecting your...
POC Fornix Mips Helmet
I think the ski racer in me just has an affinity for this brand, but I can't part with them! I love leather gloves/mittens because they are so comfortable and warm. They might not be the most waterproof, but they can still withstand some light rain.
Hestra 3-Finger Glove
Outerwear
I cannot recommend this jacket enough. It is the only lightly insulated shell jacket that I could find that was worth buying. It is stylish, very waterproof, has many venting zippers and has room for another puffer underneath if you want to layer up....
Black Diamond Lightly Insulated Shell Jacket
To match my lawrence jacket, I have these insulated pants. They are also so flattering, functional and warm for those colder days!
Halfdays Insulated Ski Pant
I found this brand while I was living in Colorado. It is a small, but up and coming brand owned by women (a former olympian). I loved the brand because their gear is high quality, super stylish, and very functional. I currently have the lawrence jack...
Halfdays Insulated Jacket
My favorite Shell Ski Pant I've ever owned. They are so comfortable, surprisingly warm and very waterproof. They also have so many pockets and vents.
Shell Pant
Under Layers
I have this baselayer top and it's my favorite ski top that I have! It's pretty warm for a thin layer, very breathable and comfortable. I highly recommend
Women’s Omni-Heat™ Midweight Baselayer Crew
A matching pair of base layer pants to go with the top!
Women's Omni-Heat™ Midweight Baselayer Tights
These are an insanely good deal. They're medium weight under layers for skiing. Ski under layers are usually pretty expensive, and after spending so much money on the rest of the gear, buying expensive under layers feels crazy. I have these myself, a...
Spyder Women's Thermal Underwear Set
My absolute favorite mid layer. I use this under both my shell and my insulated jackets. Its so warm, breathable, and comfortable. It's not thick so it wont feel bulky under your jackets.
Patagonia Women's R1® Air Full-Zip Technical Fleece Hoody
The famous Melanzana hoodie, hand made in Leadville, Colorado. If you're an avid hiker or skiier, i'm sure you've come across someone with one of these. They're handmade with Merino wool, and very comfortable. The only downside is they have limited s...
Merino Base Hoodie
Head, Hands and Feet Gear
The best ski socks! I only buy smartwool, they are superior to all other ski socks. They are made from merino wool, come in various thicknesses and are very comfortable.
Smartwool Ski Socks
Still thin enough to be comfortable, but added a little extra warmth. Smart wool is great for this kind of thing!
Smartwool Thermal Merino Reversible Neck Gaiter
I use these to protect my face from the cold, wind, and snow. I personally like lighter weight buffs on my face, because when you're all bundled up with your layers, it gets hard to breathe.
Buff Multifunctional Neckwear
On a cold day, these will save you! They just make the experience so much more enjoyable. Always bring these with you just in case!
Toe, Hand, & Body Warmer Variety Pack
Apres and Chill
The best part of the ski day is when you take off your ski boots and put on a pair of comfy warm snow boots. These boots are the best, especially on super snowy and cold days.
Sorel Tall Waterproof Boot
For the warmer winter days, these are my alternate Apres snow boots. They're just as waterproof so you can trek through the slush, but they feel more like a sneaker.
Sorel Short Waterproof Boot
Allie Caps is a store in Vermont that makes handmade outdoor apparel. All of their hats are absolitely adorable and SO SOFT.
The Nordic Beanie — AllieCaps
Optional Accessories
I know what you're thinking… "these are so expensive!" They are… but they are worth the money. If you are an east coast skier, you know how cold and grueling the winters can be. And if you're a weekly skier, these are worth the investment.
Hotronic Foot Warmer Bluetooth Custom Set
This is my personal favorite, it's geared more towards ski racers because we have a lot of stuff… but even now that I'm a retired athlete, I love using it. I like not having my boots in a pocket, it just stays cleaner and is a personal preference.
Athlete Pack
This is a pretty good and reliable ski boot bag. I used to have one of these and it's a great option as well. It has side pockets for your boots, and then a middle pocket for helmet and other things.
