Another big name in the Portland coffee world, Coava is some of the best. Coava means unroasted, or "green" coffee; they only use Arabica beans.

Buy their coffee beans - “Berry Berry Lovely” or “Slow Jamz,” among others - or get yourself a classic coffee drink at their cool cafe in Old Town.
Deadstock Coffee Roasters
One of my very favorite roasters in Portland. The cafe is relaxed and chill, lattes are excellent, and baked goods are sourced from some of the best bakeries in town.
Extracto Coffee Roasters
The use of regenerative agriculture is deeply important to Futura Coffee Roasters, and figures into the issue of climate change. Their coffee tends toward, bright, fruity, and fresh, and sometime floral.
Futura Coffee Roasters
owned and operated by Rebekah & Wille Yli-Luoma, this is a solid choice and a great representation of what Portland's coffee scene can offer. They are big on the fruit flavors found in coffee.
Heart Coffee Roasters
Their location in the Upright Beer Station offers great espresso drinks, baked goods, and beans. Their “Cost of Production” mindset means their farmers are paid a fair wage. 5 food trucks are also on site.
Junior's Roasted Coffee
Such tasty coffee! I first tasted them at The Sports Bra and was hooked.
Keia and Martyn’s Coffee
Founded in 2004 by Brazilian Augusto Carneiro, “Nossa Familia” means “our family.” They roast coffee beans - blends and single origin - to sell by the bag and also operate a series of cafes throughout Portland.
