One of the most popular parks in Portland, you'll find fantastic views of downtown along the trails.
Mt. Tabor Park
An extinct cinder cone in east Portland, catch views of Mt St Helens, Mt Hood, the Columbia Gorge, and more.
Rocky Butte
At the top of the butte, check out gorgeous views of Mt Adams, Mt Hood, Mt Jefferson, and Mt St. Helens
Powell Butte Nature Park
Once you get to the top, you can see five mountains in the Cascade Range: Mt Hood, Mt St Helens, Mt Adams, Mt Jefferson, and Mt Rainier.
Council Crest Park
Head to the Upper Garden (there is a fee) via elevator and catch a high-up view of the mountains and the Gorge from a glass chapel sitting atop the edge of a cliff.
The Grotto
Take the tram to campus and enjoy views of the mountains: Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. You might even Mt. Rainier on a clear day.
Oregon Health & Science University
Located just south of Powell Butte, the Clatsop Butte is 577 feet high. There are nice mountain views from here, and the butte is home to a variety of wildlife, including migratory birds, deer, and foxes.

Also known as Skidmore Bluffs, from here, you'll have westerly views high above the Willamette River.
