Most all of the species under the Tradescantia genus, also known as Spiderwort or Wandering Jew, are well known to be prolific growers and very low maintenance. A wonderful first plant for beginners, all you have to do to propagate (or, make more plants to share) is take a cutting or two, making sure t...nodes on each cutting, place them on a pot of soil, and water. These will practically root themselves once planted!

Succulents are my favorite plants to propagate. You literally just take a leaf off the mother plant and place it on soil. It'll do its thing from there.

Golden Pothos is another great beginner plant that can survive a good amount of neglect and grows fast. Take a cutting of 1 to 2 nodes and lay it on some soil, half covered. Water.
Epipremnum Aureum, Golden pothos

Another variety of the Epipremnum Aurea species that I personally like better than the Golden Pothos as this has a more white variegation as opposed to gold. Just as easy to propagate.
Epipremnum Aurea, Manjula pothos

Yet another variety of the Apipremnum Aurea species. This one is kinda crinkly so it's pretty cute!

My first plant was a spider plant, just like this one! This one will put out ‘babies’, or baby plants that can root and become their own plant while still attached to the mother plant or after being removed. Just place the bottom on some soil!
