The waterfall at Letchworth is worth the hour drive from Buffalo! They have hot air balloons in the summer and the park is huge with so much to do!

Literally my favorite place is WNY! Go for camping, or just for the day to hike, have a cookout, enjoy the scenery! Endless trails to hike, my favorites are Bear mountain (uphill hike) and ThunderRocks with HUGE rocks. My family climbs the rocks but ...
Allegany State Park
Also known as Losson Park. I do want to note this park is not dog friendly, meaning dogs are bit allowed. But it's great to take your family for a walk on the trails, they also have baseball diamonds, a great park for kids, tennis courts and more!
Stiglmeier Park
This place is absolutely gorgeous! If you love plants and flowers, you NEED to visit.
Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
You can't beat locally grown food! They have a great bakery as well.
Bippert's Farm
Fun to walk on the water and really get to know Buffalo. They always have different events here so be sure to check out their website if you're planning a trip!
Canalside
A must see if you've never been before. Walk around the park or just look at the falls, it's a great time! I've been countless times and the falls still fascinate me.
Niagara Falls State Park
A super cool experience, especially for kids. You can even take a tour of the ship!
Buffalo Naval Park
I've been going here since I was little! It is so much fun for everyone all ages. They have a waterpark, and they also hold a ton of concerts in the summertime! Check out their website for upcoming concerts!
Six Flags Darien Lake
