Topeka is a city located in NE Kanas and is roughly an hour from Kansas City, 30 minutes from Lawrence, and roughly 30-40 from Manhattan.
I haven't had the chance to stay in this hotel yet, but I love visiting The Weather Room to either have just a couple of drinks, or eat as well! They have such unique drinks that change out every so often!

This is in Pittsburg, KS which is in SE Kansas! There is a couple of high schools there plus a division 2 school which is Pittsburg State University.
Comfort Inn and Suites has always been good and this one fits into that well.
