My favorite sensory bins!
What my kids love to do during a cool down time!
This is probably my favorite sensory bin! The rocks are something different than the normal sand we always get. And the space theme is so adorable.
Creativity for Kids Sensory Bin: Outer Space Toys - Preschool and Toddler Sensory Toys, Kids Gifts for Boys and Girls Ages 3-5+
My kiddos at work love this! The sand is always a huge winner. This activity mixes fine motor skills with some life skills if you gear it towards that(deal with customers etc).
Creativity for Kids® Ice Cream Shop Sensory Bin
Life skills activities!
Working with kids/teens on the spectrum, we target a lot of social/life skills and these are what I use!
This one is great for introducing teeth brushing! This is easier for kids to get the hang of brushing and learning why we brush our teeth.
Melissa & Doug Super Smile Dentist Kit With Pretend Play Set of Teeth And Dental Accessories (25 Toy Pieces)
Love love love this task box🥹. It’s nice because they can practice making a food order! It’s a good job skill.
Apple Pie & Apple Crisp Sensory Bin Cards for Toddlers, Fall Activity, Autumn Play
These have been great for learning dressing skills. We start off with this to learn the concept and then move on to actually getting dressed with these clips/zippers/buttons etc.
Creatoy Montessori Fine Motor Toys for Toddlers
I have so many of these. They have been a staple when learning to use scissors. Plus my kids love the different designs.
Skillmatics Scissor Skills Activity Book & 2 Scissors
I love this for practicing taking orders for my older kids. For the younger kids I print pictures of the pieces so they can match the toppings to the picture
Melissa & Doug Pizza Party Wooden Pretend Play Food Set With 36 Toppings, Preschool Toy
My Melissa and Doug collection
I’m probably Melissa and Doug’s biggest fan.
I like this one because it can help with fine motor skills but I also use it for color, shape, and food identification.
Melissa & Doug Cutting Fruit Set - Wooden Play Food Kitchen Accessory
This one is just too cute. My kids love playing “birthday party” with this
Melissa & Doug Bake and Decorate Wooden Cupcake Play Food Set
This is a great activity that needs low prompting to finish. I like to give these as independent tasks. Plus the kids thinks it’s fun to match!
Melissa & Doug See & Spell
This is just adorable!!! Even the scanner beeps. The little chalk board is just adorable too. I like that it also has a conveyer belt and card scanner!
Fresh Mart Grocery Store
Learning👩🏼🏫
Things I have to help kiddos learn.
This has helped so many of my kids. It makes it easier for them to understand the concept of addition and subtraction.
Montessori Learning Toys 3-5: Counting & Tracing
Love love love. It’s something really easy and confident to take places. Not only can you have them learn numbers, colors, and shapes, they’re also using fine motor skills to put the pieces together.
Gagule Dinosaur Number Toys for Kids 3-5
Such a fun tracing activity! The “pen” is a magnet that pulls up the metal on the letters that makes it have a bumpy touch.
GAMENOTE Double Sided Magnetic Letter Board
Game time!
What my kids love to play!
So fun! Another “roulette” style game. You pull however many swords your told to and one will randomly make the pirate shoot up. Fun but a jump scare haha!
TOMY Pop Up Pirate Board Game - Ages 4+
This is just a simple toy my kids like to play with. It can be tricky to get the blocks to balance which I like because it helps with learning fine motor skills
EVERSMART 36 Pcs Wooden Stacking Blocks Toy
This is a hit with the older kids. I have them do this in groups to work on collaborative skills.
