Out of all my gadgets for filming and editing these are my definite go to's of all times in any situation

SOFTWARE
You can definitely get around without using these but for me I'm a straight shooter I want to get to my destination as quick as possible and these apps are user friendly, and probably the best when it comes on to mobile applications
This is like having photoshop on the go in your phone, I love it.
I would say this is a mobile version of “Final Cut Pro”, that is how good it is.
I use Canva to build my templates and portfolios along with my website.
