I chose to stay in Agios Prokopios because I did not have a car and needed to be able to walk to everything. It's also a more quiet alternative to the busy Naxos Town (Chora) where the main port of the island is. I spent 2 days on the beach and I don...

This was my first stop on the Naxos Bus Transfer tour (in my "guided tours" section). Entrance to the site is just a few euros. It was very beautiful and interesting to learn about how it was built, as well as the temple's meaning.

Another stop on my bus tour. Apollonas was a charming, quiet fishing village on the north side of Naxos. The picturesque white buildings with their blue tops and cobblestone walkways give Apollonas its beautiful, authentic Greek feel. It is said that...

The “front door” of Naxos, Portara, AKA the Temple of Apollo. Stunning at sunset, but crowded. I got amazing pics staying after everyone else left. *WARNING* it gets SUPER windy up there.

I ate at this restaurant TWICE during my stay in Agios Prokopios because that's how good it was. I had the best waiter and the most amazing calamari I've ever had. Beachfront with ocean views and a blend of Italian and Greek cuisine.

After my 24-hour journey to Greece from New York, I was tired, jetlagged, and hungry. I took a stroll toward the beach from my hotel and found this cute little restaurant with even cuter prices. I got a gyro plate for under €15 and was so full. Gyros...
