Cuticle care
Cuticle nippers can get expensive, I found these to have great quality and longer lasting. I’ve also had great customer service with the store if you have any issues upon delivery.
LePinko 4-Pack Cuticle Trimmer Kit, 5mm Jaw
Cuticle pushers, I personally use these depending on the clients cuticles some need it and some don’t, but I like that these resemble the orange woodstick ones, you’re least likely to push to far or go over and hurt your client while pushing.
guduling 4pcs Stainless Steel Cuticle Pusher Tool
Your drill bits
I personally love these because the point of this drill bit helps lift that dry cuticle and remove it from the natural nail (a big tip is to use this on reverse on your drill)
Difenni Red Flame Cuticle Drill Bit 3/32''
I prefer the slimmer mandrel drill bits because I can get into the cuticle area more comfortably and I’m least likely to cut the clients cuticle area with this
6 Pcs 3.1MM Mandrel Nail Drill Bits Set
These pair great with the slim mandrel drill bit, I prefer a 240 grit as I believe it’s less aggressive on the natural nail, this helps avoid rings of fire
MelodySusie 120 Pcs Nail Drill Bits Sanding Bands
Keeping the nail clean after prep
When you file the natural nail of course you’ll have nail dust and it’s crucial to clean it all off, if anything remains on the nail it could affect your retention, I use these and they can be cleaned and disinfected
SQULIGT 12 Pcs Nail Scrub Brushes Clear Pink
Put this on your manicure brush and clean the nail plate with this. It helps get the nail dust off and helps as a layer of dehydrator.

The bonding agents
I absolutely can’t get over this duo. I’ve had amazing retention and the brush has an accuracy that helps prevent flooding the cuticles, also who doesn’t love a pretty bottle.
The Perfect First Steps | Dehydrator & UltraBond
I’ve been told nail glue isn’t a big deal that you can purchase whatever, but in my honest opinion I’ve seen the least amount of lifting from the free edge with this glue. It being brush on is a big plus to avoid putting too much on the nail tip.
