We travel internationally regularly with two toddlers (currently 2 and 1 years old) and have done so since before our kids were born! It can be overwhelming to sort through all of the travel recommendations online, so I've curated some of the things we have found (through lots of trial and error!) to be super helpful! From baby products to packing hacks, take it from our family's personal experience!

I have two toddlers and have seen SO MANY kitchen gadgets and gizmos out there for preparing food for little ones, especially when you are introducing solids or they are still learning to eat. It's so hard to know which of these are worth it! So I've put together for you a list of the gadgets that we use regularly – and that I would buy again!

I started baking sourdough a few years ago with some starter I got from my sister! Over time, I've expanded from baking simply sandwich bread to incorporating sourdough starter into all of the baked goods and snacks I make homemade. It's amazing to have fresh, healthy bread to feed my family every week! There is SO MUCH info out there about sourdough that makes it look so complicated. Truly, all you need is flour and water and a simple loaf recipe. If you've thought about trying to bake sourdough but been too intimidated, let this be your encouragement! It really can be simple and easy – you can do it!

We live in a winter climate, but I have rambuctious toddler boys with big energy! As a result, I've spent a lot of time researching and finding the best gear to equip us to get outside and enjoy the cold season with comfort and ease. I grew up reading and being read to every day, and now with my kiddos, books are a huge part of our daily routine. These are just some of the book series we currently have on repeat! Each series or set has multiple similar books which is great as toddlers love repetition! Once they’re into a set, this also makes it easy to find new books you know they will enjoy.

We shop at Costco about once a month, and one of our favorite things to stock up on are kids snacks! They have so many options for on-the-go snacks that my toddlers love. We spend a ton of time outdoors as a family so I’m always looking for snacks we can take with us. I can always find things that both my 2 and 1 yr olds are able to eat (and always ask for more of)!
